New Jo Connor project JC & The Buddagong

Presenting the works of 3 friends that was created for the enjoyment of friends, family members and themselves and now finally available for the world to hear.

JO CONNOR Vocals, Guitar, Percussion, Bass

Vocalist songwriter from Baltimore bands Here Today, Vigil and Jo Connor Band; worked with

producer John Anthony (Genesis, Queen) for CBS Records (Here Today) and Chrysalis Records

(Vigil); his song “Therapist” is on the “Nightmare on Elm Street, Part IV” movie soundtrack. Jo

has shared the stage with many legendary performers (Bauhaus, Robyn Hitchcock, The

Stranglers, Alan Vega, Marianne Faithful and The Ramones). Jo is a vocalist who is not afraid to

take risks, giving both his studio work and live performances life and immediacy.

PETER ORTIZ Acoustic Guitars, Electric Guitar, Bass

Studied Classical Guitar with a student of Andres Segovia and Architecture. Peter uses both influences in his songwriting to create unique musical spaces and song structures. Peter, Jo and Wes met at The Catholic University in Wash. D.C. and have been writing music together ever since. Peter has designed public schools for three decades, creates Kinetic Art videos (check out our three music videos at https://www.youtube.com/@JCandtheBuddagong-ng4mi ) and is a published author (check out his true-life thriller “Two Hitchhikers” at https://www.amazon.com/Two-Hitchhikers-Pedro-Ortiz-ebook/dp/B00BOFBTHI

WES DEMARCO Electric Lead Guitar, Synthesizer, Percussion (Remastering)

Professor of Philosophy and award-winning sleight-of-hand magician, Wes has an extremely

broad musical vocabulary ranging from free jazz, fusion, classical violin to rock and fiery metal.

Wes’s solo musical output is prodigious (see Wes’s Soundcloud). Wes composes his leads as if

they were symphonies.
